As part of the £600m Trinity shopping centre redevelopment of the centre of Leeds, Trinity kitchen is a unique dining food and drinking attraction.
The interior design concept by Fusion design was based on having different lighting for each of the 40 outlets. This challenging brief was given an added level by the multi protocol controls system and maximum use of LED lamps. LITE worked closely with Hoare Lea M&E consultants and Imtech to source all the relevant products to match the concept design, install the architectural lighting and controls all fed back to the landlord BMS. The tight program and onerous site conditions were testing but the outcome of such a vibrant and exciting space delivered on time and in budget was the conclusion. The lighting supplied varied from a 3.0m diameter chandelier to yellow cable building site festoon both using LED lamps. In total over 500 luminaires were supplied and all linked by the Dynalite control panels with the headend of control via a tablet over 20 zones.
